Our Philosophy
Envision the World without Livestock.
The biomass of livestock is currently 1.5x of that of human population. The human population has reached 8 billion, just 11 years after it passed seven billion. The resources needed for livestock: feed, land, energy, water in order to produce, process, and distribute them majorly contribute to greenhouse gasses, global warming, and deforestation. Directly jeopardize wildlife species extinction and biodiversity degradation. We admit that this vision of ours is simply surreal but hey it’s a great thinking tool to help us grasp the impact of something little and simple such as switching to a plant based meat on a daily basis.
Thai Culinary Braves the Plant-based World.
Thai food has been world-class famous for decades. Despite incorporating a large amount of fresh seasonal vegetables, herbs, and spices, and coconut cream in its recipe, most dishes inevitably rely on a fair portion meat in the recipe. Furthermore, Thai culinary’s character needs the spirit of kapi (fermented krill paste) & nampla (fish sauce).
In the growing global plant-based trend, how can Thai food serve this new need for the planet seamlessly, bring all the best know-how from the past to a better future — without reinventing itself. Together with a unique heritage of Thai gastronomy, we want to facilitate/empower Thai eateries to serve these important demands.

Being nutritionally and functionally meat-like, Meat Avatar plant-based meat are created for culinary application in creative and openness. The more chef joining, the better this diet will grow.
LEAST PROCESS
Simplicity. Nothing goes into our creations that isn’t absolutely necessary to the vitality of meat substitute. Meat substitute is considered a processed food, but we handcraft them with the least process possible.
LOCAL ORGANIC
We strive for using maximum local and organic ingredients as possible. It is important to us that the Meat Avatar product is a wind beneath the wing for Thai agriculture to be sustainable practices with welfare-before-profit approach for the farmer.
SCIENCE
The making of meat avatar is both art and science driven. We develop with an innovative mind and work closely with the food lab while centering our attention on lifestyle and transformation. This is the key to a sustainable and lasting change.
Our Story
In late 2020 Meat Avatar had launched plant-based meats into the modern trade channel in Thailand.
Being the first brand/actor in this category in Thailand, we are proud that the scene has gained popularity and expanded to wider audiences over time. From a small group of meat eaters who seek ways to aid meat-less lifestyle, we continue to attract like-minded people to join our start-up. Complex protein sources, complete essential omega acids, not just taste and texture, but it has to have culinary value, versatility, and nutrition that can substitute meats. We want to aid parent to help raising a kid with less taste for meat, to nudge Thai restaurant all over the world to adapt to the plant-based movement, and to make a go-plant-based decision effortless with a seamless transition for individuals.
We believe in being, and always be, a small business that maintain sharp-edged attribute in order to be up-to-date, flexible, and inclusive to the new inputs, in order to constantly bring about plant-based meat products that would fit to any emerging needs. In for joy of cultural experiences, with the lowest environmental impact and the highest set of ethics.
